I was there on Saturday, so they opened only a portion of the track. Track was new and slick as well.
New track description: There were no markers on the track (maybe a cone or two at the apex) so there was no real reference.
AFter you enter the new section here is the description of just the new section:
Corner 1: Uphill right hander. I liked it and kinda reminded me of the entrance to the cyclone at T-hill, but not as steep. (After this the track bends to the left a bit, so I won't call it a corner and leads into the S).
Corner 2 and 3: Small left right S still going uphill. Can be used to get some speed, but then again I was not able do it , because I was going slow.
Corner 4: Left hander leaving you at the plateu, so this is where the uphill ends.
Corner 5: This one was one of the more fun corners, because it was a decreasing radius turn, slightly heading downhill.
Corner 6: Slightly downhill 180 right going a bit downhill and then bringing you back up hill.
Corner 7: I dont know what to call this one, because it was very tight and most peple slowed down for it. It is almost like a 45 degree triangle for sharpness, but sets you up on a nice downhill right hander.
Corner 8: This had to be my favorite, because I felt like I was getting sucked in by it everytime. Steeper downhill than any other corners on the track I think it can be compared to exiting turn 13, just more downhill. I was kinda taking this one really close to the apex, but I am sure that you can run it much wider and get you bike straightened out quicker, because there is plenty of space when you enter the old section.
BTW exiting 11 going to 12 , the straightaway is still very bumpy.
The corners how I described them, for reference.
Here is Guimont (first yellowbike), followed by Jimmy and ChrisN at turn 8.
