I guess my commute isn't so bad....

Was an absolutely beautiful day out today, sun was going down as I made my way home from work, so I snapped a few pics along the way. Certainly can't complain!! :) Can you tell I'm not exactly a fan of the city life?? LOL

^^ last two are from the road I live on, just about 8-10 miles down the road

Very nice roads. I hope this Saturday I can take a trip on the cbr, it's in need of some ridding.

Everything is so green! Not used to that since everything is dry here this time of year. Looks great.

Well there is a very small one, Sammys Supermarket, that's part of a Sunoco gas station about 10 miles down the road from my house. Small produce section and whatnot, but still nothing like a full grocery store. To get into town to the actual bigger stores, it's about 25-30 mins. I live out in the middle of nowhere..... there's literally nothing around here other than some old backwoods churches, lol. No cell phone service or cable TV either

NC is very beautiful. I really miss tall trees hills and not living down here. My commute to work is 15 miles and you have to go 10 just to gas up? Wow!

Are you the guy with 200k+ miles on the F4i?

Do you get a lot of animals jumping the road?

Yup closest modern gas station is about 10 miles..... there is another tiny little backwoods place a couple miles away with the old analog pumps, but I don't always trust gas from places like that. Where do you live now? And I agree, NC is awesome.... I absolutely LOVE it here!! Never want to move from where I'm at

And yes, that's me :) 256k now

Thanks! Yea there are quite a few animals out here..... guy right down the road from me has a bunch of chickens that just run loose around the yard, and sometimes they're out in the road so I've gotta watch when I go by there. Also had loose horses in the road, deer, dogs (whole pack of dogs one day), turkeys, a black bear out in a field, and then the usual array of small critters. I've heard coyotes many times but never seen them. You've definitely gotta be careful at night! The road the last 2 pics were on, we often see loose dogs just running around on the sides of the road. Most times they're not in the road and just sniffing around in the ditch and don't seem to mind us at all. But still gotta be careful. There was one tonight when I was coming home roaming around in the ditch

Running fantastic!! I do need to sync my throttle bodies since everything is all outta whack now after adjusting all the valves, lol..... idle is smooth but a little choppy (you can hear it) and is making my clutch basket rattle. But a good sync should smooth that right out. Other than that though running like a beast! Now if I could just get a manometer that actually works...ugh May just build my own

Thanks everyone for the compliments.... I most definitely absolutely LOVE it here... never want to move!! I seriously couldn't be happier. And no, certainly not much traffic, haha. And having lived in SE Florida and Atlanta, no traffic is a wonderful thing
