New pics of my Bike, Silver Rims, Rimtape, Sliders, Fndr Elm

Lots of new stuff on the bike, Sliders, rimtape, and of course the rims. I got bored so i took them off and went down to the shop to blast them. I'm not sure if i like it yet or not, but i'm getting used to it fairly quickly.

let me know what you think

Here's a before:

And the Afters:

Another one:

Last one for now, i got a few more but not sure if they are any useful, unless people want to see closeups of the drills on the sliders:

Like i said, let me know what you think, i'm curious to see what others think

You just left it blasted? Now it has little pits in it and it's going to be harder to get crap out like chain lube.

Very nice! Personally I'd lose the rim tape and seal the rims to keep them looking good - great work just finish them off and it'll look top notch!

Bike really looks great. Is that a sticker on the tail or painted? Only thing is that I would have just left the rims black and put the rimtape on the black. Just need a good looking pipe back there now, and maybe a seat cowl since you dont have passenger pegs.

its just unfinished for now, i had to get it back together to ride, cant take it not being up and runnin for more than a day with nice weather out, but as far as finishing it off, yes i have plans to paint the rims metallic silver w/o rimptape, just had it layin around so i figured i'd use it.

The Rear cowl is the regular 04 Cowl with Red Vinyl applied to the back part. Seatcowl + Exhaust + screen are the next 3 things, then i think i'll be done with it for a while.

Main reason i went with silver rims is because everyone has black, and i dont like not being able to tell where the rim ends and where the tire starts. Plus it gives the bike a whole different look if you compare before/after pics its a great difference.

nice tail, like the rear rim... for some reason, the silver front rim get's washed out in the brake components.

love the tail.

Looks awsome. Only suggestion I have is putting a little black paint under the front flushmounts where the red paint is showing through.

Randal Graves: There's nothing more exhilarating than pointing out the shortcomings of others, is there?
