It would be hard to choose, but I put 40K miles on an RSV4 so I'd take the R1.

Ugh I want an R1 so badly! I used to be dead-set on a fireblade, but the more I see the R1 It makes me want to jump ship.

That tire pic from the track vid, daymn!! and i can see what they both said re the RSV being just a tad "old" like they mentioned if you could have the best of both of these bike into one, you'd likley have the worlds best sportbike

I definitely think the RSV looks better overall. But I will say that the blue/silver scheme on the R1 is probably the worst color option to choose from. They just make the bike look so bland and do not flatter the body work at all IMO.

Raising my hand. Shame that both bikes that testers say are like rockets...the s1000rr and the R1 have unforgiving looks.

I kinda do. But if I owned one the looks would surely grow on me like any other bike. It gives you time to appreciate it.

Panigale gets my vote for eye candy. As does the RSV4.

Right now. Yes. I think the R1 does look hideous, but it has been growing on me more and more. It will never be as nice looking as that Aprilia though.

I really wished Honda would step their game up.

Soon we won't have a choice. R. Daneel Olivaw will soon have us riding R1's with training wheels, for our own benefit.

The RSV4 is one of the best looking bikes ever made IMO. The R1 isn't gorgeous but its still a good looking bike. I'd take the RSV4 over the maha anyday.

'06 F4i- Yoshimura RS-3C, Racetech springs and valves, Ohlin's rear shock, steel brake lines, 520 conversion. 87k miles and counting.....
'08 600RR- Stripped trackbike. CRG shorty brake lever, goodridge front brake lines
'15 1000RR- weekend toy

Except for the OEM Exhaust... Some versions have a really huge and horrendoues one...

The rest of the bike is usual italian style... Sexy madafacka...
