VR46 practice launch

saw this today wanted to share, Vale doing a practice launch out of pitlane @ Sepang Testing a few weeks ago. Be sure to turn up the Volume!! SICK!!

haha yeah, wonder if any other riders did practice starts from there. Just an angle we normally never see

Or maybe he launched in second. I would imagine 240-260whp can get out of hand in first on a launch. Because I'm pretty sure I've seen him shifting GP in races

Crashes: 2 minor low speed lowsides, 1 50MPH impact.

They have launch control. It would be no problem holding the throttle WO and dumping the clutch in 1st.

Most likely due to a different shift pattern on the seamless shift transmission. Because the transmission "engages 2 gears at the same time" they can't have 1-N-2-3-4-5-6. They've changed it to N-1-2-3-4-5-6.

Neutral is also locked out so they don't accidentally select it on track by downshifting too many times, they have an extra lever on the left handlebar to engage neutral.
