Sharpie CBR Project

Thought i'd share my project here. Got a white fairring and my brother wanted to do some sharpie art on them. Cant wait for it to be done!

Dude that looks awesome! I feel like when it's all done you'll be able to look at the bike for hours and not see the same thing twice.

Update on the side, i plan on clear coating it but unsure where to get it done. Project is going slow, probably wont be done for this season.

or,

any body shop can clear coat it for you, s/b about $200....for all panels.

200$ would be perfect for my budget, id rather make it coat professionally. I dont really have the space or time to do it really.

many light coats, over several days.....

A good automotive shop should be able to return parts quickly.

Just a heads up before you go and clear coat it, do a test first. I tried to clear over sharpie before, and it ended up running all over. Not sure if you'll need a special clear coat or if the sharpie just don't take well to clear coat. Good luck

Yeah, im planning on doing a test on the solo seat so if it fucks up it aint too bad.

IIRC, there's a "sealer spray" available at art stores.

Artists use it to keep charcoal sketches from smearing.....maybe that would help fix sharpie image?

Not sure if compatible with clear coat.....

Worth a try on a scrap piece. I got some pla plates layimg around... I wonder if i could use these to test
