My latest trackday

Here are some action pics from my trip to the Calabogie Motorsports Park this past weekend. If anyone is remotely close to here I would recommend going. The surface is smooth as glass and there are a lot of turns to work on. If anyone has any comments or pointers on my form and body position it would be greatly appreciated.

The rest of the pics can be seen here

That IS the Berik (moto GP) Titanium suit.

Don't think it's the kangaroo skin one though (I don't see the kangaroo patch that's near the shoulder area - though it CAN be removed)

Yeah the suit is a regular titanium. So far it has held up great through the crashing I put it through.

Hey, I think I remember seeing that helmet. We were up there too. Great track. He's not lying when he says it's smooth. My tires after both days are not in too bad of shape. 4 hours at Pocono damn near killed them.

What did you think about turn 8? The double left. Were you there Saturday for all the wrecks in the morning? That had me all sorts of nervous.

Temptation is a weird corner. It was easier for me to go in the middle of the road for the first apex with a wide drift to the right, then turn in tight at the second apex to set up for Deliverance. When I would get Temptation right I would be perfectly set up for WOT through Deliverance.

Saturday morning was a big cluster funk to say the least. People didn't obey passing rules and it was a shame the TPM crew got stuck at the border. At least by the afternoon things were getting better and Sunday was great.
