Some new pics on a ride today...nuthin' special

Lately it has been so hot around here and getting out on a good ride properly geared up has been a challenge. Today was pretty nice and I got a chance to get up in the mountains of NorthWest Georgia. Didn't want to go up near Deals Gap due to all the police harrassment that has been going on lately. There was very little car traffic, only saw 3 LEO's all day and got a few pics of the bike along the way. Nothing special, just felt like sharing. Only things done to the bike is a BMC filter, Pazzo shorty levers, EBC HH sintered pads.

pretty cool dude.

Now as a pro rider.... What kind of pipe is that? How did you keep the bike from tipping over in the dirt?

Looks really clean

stock pipe, just polished it and the heat shield....Bike was on a hard gravel/tar mix. Even though I drive it very hard, it stays garaged, has 7k miles (I am totally anal about wiping it down after every ride, wax 2-3x a month, oil changed every 1k miles, ect)

You change the oil every 1k miles??? Heck, I could still use your oil for a while after you drain it. To each is own. Nice pics, BTW.

Made it myself after looking at a couple different ones (essentially copied my buddies who had paid 35+ dollars). Took a 1/4" thick piece of aluminum and went to my buddy's machine shop. We curved the edges, made the holes and setback a mounting point for a large hose clamp. Kinda simple, but came out very nice and clean. Cost less than 10.00. As far as a light...well no light for now and haven't had any problems from the LEO. Gwinnett County seems to be very liberal. Had the police behind me many of times in the night...never pulled over...yet.
