Passed mod 1 :)

I passed my mod 1 this morning :) I had one minor which was going thru the speed trap to do the avoidance at 49kmh instead of 50+ Khm. Got mod 2 booked for end of April as that is the earliest they could do. Bit of a wait but I don't mind, weather will be pants anyway.

Also, here is a pic of the little one wearing my helmet and gloves

Raj, that was the next date they had available! Might phone another training centre and see what they have as I havent paid my deposit yet for the 23rd. I planned on doing it by the 12th as there is a police bike safe day that I woukd have liked to attend but I guess I will just have to wait.

I had the bike out earlier tho and gave it a nice clean.

Yeah. It was still brand new when I went there. That mod 1 course is fantastic. The Tarmac is the most pristine I've ever seen!

Yeah, but unfortunatly il have to wait. Still hoping to go down to see the track action but will only be in the car.

The Tarmac at the test centre was still amazing. The grip is fantastic. Same grip, no matter how wet it gets apparently.

I thought about doing that day too buy I'm pretty sure my yoshi will not pas the noise test now I've shortened it.

I've still got the stock can but there's no way I'd re install that for 15 mins on the track.

It's still worth taking your bike up though because they'll sound check it for you whether you're going on track or not because it's always interesting to know what dB you're running at.

Mod 1 is all done in a controlled environment to demonstrate low speed bike control, figures of 8 etc and then emergency stop and a high speed avoidance. Mod 2 is all done on the public road and is a general assessment of your riding.

No need to use a power commander with a slip on. It becomes a bit more worthwhile if you're running an aftermarket filter too but is only really needed with a full system.
