17months later

Won the personal injury side of my claim, or more accurately the other side agree to pay 100% of it....I call that winning either way.

Still have to work at the rest of the claim though, which will be over 3x the size of the injury payout.

Thanks, it's at the courts now...tick tock.

Wondering if I win now on if I should buy another bike, ugprade car, upgrade car only slightly and get bike, get small bike and keep car....decisisions decisions.

Been wanting to upgrade my BMW to the 335i, twin turbo 3litre 6 cyl. Also eyeing up the 12+ blade still though, doubt I can have my cake and eat it so may be one or the other.

In the meantime took the personal injury win and invested in the stock market and paid off my car finance, being all sensible and sh!t :)

From what I understand court date is still set but now what will happen on that date has changed, otherside have come back yesterday saying they're not disputing liability anymore.

So basically a 90% win!! haha, thats what I make from what my solicitors say anyway('liability will not be raised as an issue in respect of these proceedings only') so all that's left(and we will use that court date if we can't agree) is to argue on costs so essentially the court date is now for 'assessment of damages'.

So that's 22months of fighting for a win, my longest one to date just goes to show how important hanging in no matter what is to a win.

Lets hope this argument on costs is not going to drag out. My plan is not to run out and buy a 2012 fireblade as much as I want to, or to upgrade the car instead or attempt both but I've since dived into the stock market and may attempt to use it to generate the funds for a bike isntead, I'm averaging a 13.5% return(on very little money but hey it's still good!), not bad considering the alternative is my bank account with 0% interest!!

yea in the end I just didn't trust my solicitors to win more money for me so took the second offer, I was told by my people to take 50% blame despite being non fault I said no and I was right, I was told to take their offer I said no and I was right it went up, they just didn't want to fight anything.

That's MCE by the way...I will try to avoid next time. Going back into the army though so may have to shelve diving into a new fireblade haha

Anyway time to Ebay the 600rr tomorrow.
