Three years in the making...mod 2 finally.

Ho-ly-sheit...

The short short version.

In 2012, I quickly got the theory, CBT, and mod 1 out of the way.

Then...

test 1-failed for not being over right enough in the lane when turning right.

test 2-allgedley hit a 40 mph zone doing 50.

test 3-failure to progress. Ok...was behind a truck in a dual carriage way doing 50. Signage indicating right lane was closed, so I stayed. Turned out it wasn't, but I stayed anyway.

test 4-didn't happen because...by this time, my original theory expired, so I had retaken and passed, re-did mod 1, THEN renewed CBT, but brought the wrong CBT cert to the mod 2 test.

Fast forward to this morning, going to Mitcham (instead of Basildon) this time around and FINALLY got it.

Man, I've been dying to get back on the thing. I've not ridden since end of 2011.

Now, after I re MOT this thing, hope to finally see some of you guys around.

He's saying that after many failed attempts and a few dumb mistakes on his part, he's finally passed his bike test and has a licence.

UK terminology wasn't explained but in fairness he did post this in the UK section guys 😉

Yeah...I would have thought the mod 2 part was pretty obvious. An Ozzy and Alabamian posting in a UK section...I can see how you guys were confused. :)

And dkid...yeah. The hard way it certainly was. And stupidly expensive. I would argue on the last two things I failed on. But, like most governmental things, there's no recourse. I called BS...and the last one being a saftey issue? I think not. But I digress. What's done is done.
