I CAN SEND U A LINK WHATS YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS
[email protected] thanks
so he said the condition was 9/10 and i have paid him. a week later exhaust came in i it was in great condition so i went ahead and left him positive feedback for it.

i did not get around installing it for a month or so (rainy time so i wasn't riding anyways). when i finally get to it it does not fit. the midpipe fit the header and comes out like it suppose to, but the end of it instead of facing straight rear is angled to the left about 20 degrees. in the beginning i thought i am doing something wrong and tried to rotate the pipe to no avail. i can mount exhaust but the can is not straight and ends about 2-3" off center, looking horrible.

so i think it is wrong exhaust, but sellers pictures show the exhaust on 08 graffiti however there is no picture from behind so you can not tell from his pictures (maybe for a reason) if it fit on the donor bike as it suppose to.

so i pm him again but it does not seem that he even understand the problem

cheers dziugas
I DONT KNOW WE TOOK IT OFF THE BIKE AND THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO THE BACK
THANKS LEE
there is no damage it just does not fit. mid pipe is facing sideways and exhaust is comes out facing to the left and not straight

so i tried and tried again, i got my friend help me and there is no way it will fit as it suppose to. also i did have multiple bikes and multiple aftermarket exhausts that i all put on my self and never had any problems.

so i am asking for advice. maybe anyone ran into problem like that before. also the only solution i see is to get new mid pipe ($$$$$) or have exhaust shop try and bend it. in any case i need to figure something out as my $275 exhaust is being a paperweight at the moment and i can't even sell it since i dont want to scam my fellow riders and not sure what this exhaust will fit (if anything)

i will take some pictures of it and post it here.

maybe some one can give me an idea why it did not fit (maybe its for 03-06 or 09-10) or an advice how to mend the situation

damn bro, nice pink slippers. lol, as far as the exhaust. did you tighten anything down yet? maybe if you loosen the mid pipe you will have a little more play in the exhaust. but it sure does stick out far.

bro did you attempt twist the portion connected to the headers? It appears as if it connecting pipe is out of line... Is this a full system exhaust If so then that could be the issue. I had a similar issue with my exhaust and that was the problem... hope it helps.

yah looks like you just need to loosen the mid pipe and rotate it to the right a little bit, that will correct the pipe from coming out to the left...

Did you replace the gasket in the exhaust connecting pipe from the mid down to your lower (near your right footpeg, where the exhaust connects down there)
As a issue may have occurred when removing the mid pipe the gasket got damaged thus it hasnt slid in the right position (your pipe), thus your angles are all screwed up due to this not being properly connected.
I suggest to go and buy a exhaust gasket since your playing about with it all, they are about $10

wow thanks for lots of replies. i tried loosening midpipe and it does not twist in direction needed as it hits subframe when you try twist it in the right direction. and even if that would be possible then the outlet would be of center.

i also have another slip on that fits just fine and if you compare the midpipes the end is bent differently. i would have used other midpipe but it is welded on the exhaust.

thanks on the slippers i love it :)

i will try heat and bend it. will let you know how it goes.

and i was aware of exhaust sticking out when i bought it since i am planing to shorten it when it fits right

cheers

so i made it fit. heating up and bending the pipe did not work. i had to cut midpipe at an angle and then used pliers to make the hole round again. it was major pita and took ~4 hours. still a firm believer that mid pipe was wrong for my bike. not sure why though.

cheers

lol. well i dont hold the grudge as i dont have proof he knew it will not fit. it is too bad that you cant see pictures from behind in a for sale thread cause i think it might have been crooked there as well. the only other scenario i can think of, is that donor bike was 09 with 09 slip on and 08 graffiti fairings if it fit correctly on it.

regardless it is fixed now. but make sure to get more info from the seller if you do buy from them
