Having issues with MotoXchange

Bought the levers and rearsets from him that were claimed to both by Vortex in great shape and for the 07 and up 600rr. When I got them in the 1st thing I noticed is that they both had rash on them. Then when I went to install them the levers for one were not Vortex but Titan and for two were not for the 600rr.
I have been in contact with MotoXchange and he told me to ship back the levers and he would next day me the correct ones. Well it has been about two weeks since they were shipped back and I still don't have levers.
I have had to file an escalated claim with paypal. Since then I have had no communication with him.
Sorry to say but I will not be doing business with him again and I encourage others to be cautious as well.
I will update this post as things develop.

Current Rides:

2009 CBR 600RR
2009 CBR 1000RR Repsol

So what the outcome (response)

FIRST THING WE TOLD YOU WE MADE A MISTAKE AND WE THOUGHT THE LEVERS WERE OFF A 600RR BUT THEY WERE NOT. REAR SETS WERE CORRECT

NOW LETS GET STORY CORRECT

  • I ASKED U WHAT WOULD BE FAIR I CAN GIVE U A FULL REFUND (250 FOR REAR SETS AND LEVERS) IF YOU SEND ITEMS BACK
  • I ASKED YOU ,WHAT DO U THINK THE LEVERS ARE WORTH ( U STATED 100.00) I SAID I CAN REFUND A 100 IF U SEND LEVERS BACK
  • OR I COULD SELL YOU SOME SOME BRAND NEW VORTEX LEVERS AT OUR COST
  • YOU STATED YOU WANTED THE BRAND NEWS LEVERS IN BLACK I THEN STATED JUST PAY THE DIFFERENCE FROM THE 100 I OWED YOU
  • YOU SENT ORIGINAL LEVERS BACK FROM A DIFFERENT ADDRESS THAN I SENT THE FIRST SHIPMENT TO YOU (YOU USED MOTO AUTHORITY ADDRESS )
  • MY MISTAKE I THOUGHT YOU WORKED THERE BECAUSE THAT WAS THE ADDRESS ON THE BOX
  • SO THAT'S WERE I SENT THE LEVERS THEY WERE REFUSED AS I TRACKED THE PACKAGE
NEXT YOU DO A PAYPAL DISPUTE FOR 150.00 WERE DID 150 COME FROM ?

I TOLD YOU THEY WERE REFUSED BY SHOP BECAUSE THE WAS A COD TAG FOR THE BALANCE THAT WAS OWED.

AS FAR AS TWO WEEKS IT TOOK A WEEK FOR THE LEVERS TO BE RETURNED FROM ALBUQUERQUE TO GEORGIA

SO WHAT DO WE DO NEXT ORDER SOME MORE LEVERS AND SHIP THEM NEXT DAY AIR TO YOU TRACKING # EH 887762725 US

SO I THINK OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE BENT OVER BACKWARDS TO RECTIFY OUR MISTAKES

TO SUM IT UP YOU RECEIVED BRAND NEW VORTEX LEVERS @ DEALER COST WITH NEXT DAY AIR SHIPPING

AND THE POST OFFICE SUCKS
NEXT THING THE LEVERS HAD NO RASH ON THEM

Won't be using motoexchange based on his attitude in this thread.

You still haven't posted pics of the other side of the levers...

Okay well I was going to give MotoXchange the benefit of the doubt, but yet again another issue. The levers that were sent to me are good but the mount that bolts onto the break lever is wrong. Am I surprised that they made ANOTHER MISTAKE. No I actually expected something to go wrong with them.

So MotoXchange whats your excuse this time? How are you going to rectify it?

Really...................? Who is going to look at the underside of your brake lever/clutch lever? Do you have friends come over, "hey brah, check out my so sick levers" "Ahhh so seeeek man, except for that tiny scratch on the bottom of it" (as he is laying on his back next to your bike looking up)

MotoX is doing more than most to make you happy, shutup and quit being a bitch.

If the "rash" was disclosed in the beginning of the sale I would understand but when the ad stated no damage I expect no damage regardless of where the damage is. When you are without a bike and waiting on this part to ride then yes I would say that qualifies as a good enough reason to "be a little bitch". And if it has to go as far as this to get the situation resolved then yes I will take it this far. As far as your comments poopoo. Unless you have been a part of this transaction I would stay out of it. I would also watch your language unless you want to get banned from the site.

IMO, you should go to a shop and purchase your parts, that way you won't get shipped damaged items and can return it easily if there is a problem with the parts you order. Go to your nearest Honda shop. If you were in south texas, I would help ya out no problem- I'm the parts girl here! :) Good luck getting this resolved. Ordering parts online is always a pain in the a**. But, keep in mind, mistakes DO happen- everyone's human... but the keyboard commando attitude is pretty unneccesary... and bad business.

Kelsey27. Agreed I do most of my business though the local shop here. I do like to give the guys here on the site my business as well. Sh** does happen and yes we are all human. It looks to me as though MotoXchange is trying to make it right and that is all I can ask for. Waiting as long as I have has definitely put a damper on things though. I got an email about a part being sent to me so hopefully next week I will be riding the 600 again. Shoot me over a pm on the shop you work at we may be able to do business going forward.
