coach the best thing to do is get to know people on the board and look for the long time members with good trader ratings.

Yeah, we're in it...

Ballin all u have to do is click on that little red number where it says feedback in everyone's avatar, If your really paranoid about it, dont buy form anyone without a rating, or a negative rating.

what all the others have said ^^^^^^^^^^

im going to say the biggest and most important when doing
person to person or person to business is...research!!!

ive been fortunate to deal with good honest people from this site. once
im interested in something from that individual...ill click on his/her profile
and dig into what threads he/she has posted and what single posts that person
has made. until im satisfied and content. look at the trader ratings, join
date etc...whatever i can dig up to get information about the person. some of
the other forums im on or lurk...alot of the same people here are there also. so he/she
has a history there and ill snoop around on that forum. hell ask why dont they put on ebay.
by their responses, youll be able to tell if they have an acct there. if you can...check their
history there or ask what their username is on ebay.
do some RECONNASIANCE!!
once you get done with that...next is communication!!!

make sure you can get a hold of that individual. ask for the best contact
reference. and give that person the same. ask for pictures of the product.
see it in person if all possible. ask questions about the product(s). ask why
he/she is selling etc. then keep in contact with the individual without being
annoying or bothersome...to a certain extent! youll know when to start doing that.

another thing it comes down to...since its complete strangers we deal with
online...is to go with your gut feeling!!

pick your battles well.

gl mang
