Driven Grips install help - Throttle

So i got my driven grips and installed the brake fine. But the throttle side, how do i get the grip to go over that little white lip to get it all the way on? its a major pain. without going over that lip, it doesn't look right, plus my bar ends cause the throttle to stick.

either you cut your grip down or you cut that little lip off the stock throttle tube.

ok...got it. i went to the shop and they used an air compressor to push it close on. it didn't go over the lip. instead they spray painted the white lip black and then fit the bar end on it. throttle works.
