Question Ques: Turn signal light

What would cause a turn signal light to go solid? I hope this makes sense. I'll explain my right turn signal goes solid when activated. My left is fine. I know is cars it can be as simple as a bulb replacement. Is it the same as bikes? I have an 05 btw with clear alternatives and flush mounts, neither work (solid, not blinking) on the right-side from the cluster all the way to the rear.

Thanks in advance!

Two options
Get some resistors or change the turn signal relay ( easier , cleaner )
check out this link

If it doesn't challange you it won't change you

then i'd check the wiring. all of it. after that you MAY wish to isolate the Turn Signal relay, or replace it altogether. i'd take a volt meter to the relay to see if it's sending pulse voltage. it could very well be that the (unserviceable) relay in the dash is broken.

I've ordered the relay as Moe suggested haven't had time to install it. However my right turn signal started working again, crazy. In order to make it work I have to activate the left first then right works like a champ. I'll replace the relay.

But my question is, is it something else I need to look at?
