New spark plugs in, now MPG is horse crap
I have a 2004 CBR600rr with 16,800 miles
So to start off, i just got my valves checked. Turned out 1 of the spark plugs wasnt pushed in all the way and was firing abnormally.
Now that im going through my second tank of gas, i have been getting crap MPG. The tank before i got my valves checked and new plugs put in, i was getting an average of 46 mpg.
I use this bike as a commuter and for fun, but the last two tanks has been strictly commuting, cept for revving high through the canyons for about 25 miles immediatly after filling up and i wasnt revving that high at all.
Has anyone ever had this happen to them? Valves checked and new plugs thrown in and the gas mileage goes down?
Should it come back up once the CPU gets used to the new plugs?
Im so confused
