Blinking "reserve" on gas gauge not working

My gas gauge was working fine, now the blinking last bar (reserve) function does not work? It works fine from full all the way down, but I ran out of gas because it doesn't blink, it just stays at 1 bar till its empty?

hmm... sounds like the float is stuck. Sea-Foam the next tank of gas.

It blinks? I guess I missed that in the manual... and I've never gone so far as to figure it out on my own.

So... how far did you have to walk to get some gas?

I am in the same boat. I just fill it up onces I hits the last bar. So I don't have to bother my father again for bringing me a can of gas while I am stranded.
