gas meter is wierd.

hi guys !

non of my old bikes have gas meter and when I got this 2002 f4 was without the gas meter i have the bike for a few days now and yesturday went empty and frome nowere a gas meter appears in the digital display with the gas pump icon on bottom and a bar that was like full but bike was empty. I fill the tank and the meter disapear again.

any idea how is suppouse to work. my friend R6 and Kawa 600 non have the meter so I was thinking mine was without too but when empty appears like magic hahahaha !!

If you titled the thread better, you will get better results. most of the people looking at this thread are coming in as CBR600RR riders, not F4 riders. if this were a RR, i'd tell you to pull the fuel pump and inspect the harness.

When that bars for the fuel pop up, it is showing reserve fuel left. Your gonna run out fast. I know it is wierd but thats the way it works on the F4I.

I fill mine based off the miles done since it was gassed up.
