Lagging Speedo?

Alright, so i searched and searched but couldn't find anything with relevance to this so... Here it is!

My speedo lags after a certain amount of riding (time wise). I can take the bike out at say 12:00 and by 1:00 if i'm still riding it, it will begin to lag. By this i mean, i'll either pin it or use the brakes and in either instance it falls behind by at LEAST 2-3 seconds. Which is getting a BIT annoying lol. Tach is fine, though.

Any thoughts? Tach died a few days back, was a fuse issue. Been fine since.

Nada thing.. Unfortunately, since that would have been a start! lol. Only thing, like i mentioned, is the speedo died on me a ways back after i got caught in the rain. Turned out to be the fuse, dead / loose (i never paid much attention nor tested it). Since then its been fine..
