Speed reading 0 mph

i went to watch some racing tonight bout 25 miles away, and when i was leaving i noticed my FI light stayed on and my speed stayed at 0. also neither of the two little buttons work. Tach, fuel and temp seem to be working thou. I plan on checking fuses first but has anyone encountered this problem?

I'll bet you got a MIL light with it too you're not disclosing... check your speed sensor for a loose connection.
