flasher relay troubles...

i've been trying to install a flasher relay on my '05rr and have had limited success. i tried to wire mine up like i read in another thread (splice into white/green and gray) but it wouldn't work. my left side both signals come on solid, and the right side won't turn on at all. any help? thanks in advance!

'05 rr

i just tried switching around the relay's wires (cause i just have 2 black and don't know if it should go one way or the other) and if i put it one way, the left side flashes and right side does nothing, the other way, the left side is on constantly, and the right does nothing... i'm lost.

sooo same old, same old... "measure twice, cut once" ... or in my case, be sure you have the right wires. works like a charm now, thanks for your help tho.
