O7RR lack of power below 5k????

Bike came with a Two Bros. exhaust on it. Below 5k it feels dead, almost bogging. Is the exhaust to blame? I'm guessing a PC would help. Is it safe to run without one? I have not ridden a stock exhaust RR so I don't know what the low end should be like. Thanks in advance.

2 bro's full exhaust? I cant see how a slip on would take away from bottom end. If you have a full exhaust then yea you would lose some bottom end but you gain lots of upper end. A PC3 would fix that lag somewhat.

what are you comparing it to?

most inline 4's that are hight rev's have little power below 5k. its just the nature of the beast, most likely nothing wrong with your bike.

I never drop below 5k in my normal riding

Slip-on, stock gearing. I know I4's lack in the low end power, It just seems like it should be a little spunkier than it is. Anyone else lose some low end power with a slip-on?
