weird brake noise????

ok, im getting worried here. i just noticed that without apply my brakes, i can hear a brushing sound. im thinking my pads are rubbing the rotor?? then again could this just be dust or dirt?? its a 2006 cbr600rr 2660 miles. cant be the pads worn that quick. however before i learned to downshift into a corner, i was working those brakes.
