Headlight Probs

Hey guys sorry its been so long since iv stopped by alot has been going on but i would appriciate the help here goes....

Alright my headlights one day stoped working they just would not turn on high or lows. the blue light showing the high beams being on was off aswell. now i would shut the bike off and on and they would come on aventually. this lasted for about a month now they dont work period for the last month no anything. i tested the headlight bulbs and they are fine they work with a power source outsid eof the bike. my fuse is fine i changed that too. i had a light tester so i poked around a bit and i found that i have power going into my fuse box leaving my fuse box aswell... i took my high beam low beam switch apart and tested that and i DID NOT seem to have juice up there. leaving my fuse box is a thick black wire and a red one and at the switch i think they are both skinny black ones so i dont know where the wires run from my fuse box to what and then how it goes to my switch or my headlights. sorry for the run on sentences and bad spelling im in a rush ahah if anyone has a wiring diagram for an 05 it would help alot or any ideas please let me know
thanks again guys

the headlight relay is between the lights. Do you have a service manual.
On my copy check chapter 20, section 25 - I can't copy it to show you!!

How you been man are you back in FL probably not still in CT i presume
as far as the relay make sure its plugged in solid and the wires are intact
unplug it then plug it back in and see what happens
