rectifier or battery ?

ok the other day i rode to work the bike fired up no problem in the morning or on the way home when i got home i shut down the bike let it sit for about 45mins fired it up no problem again then when to the gas station and filled it then it would not start at all i had my dad drive down and jump start the bike with me it fired up no problem

i have a 03 the batt is prob 1.5 years old fires up no problem when cold but not always when hot

so im thinking that it could be the rectifier but im not sure if really is that

thanks Jim

It could be either or both & without testing both you are likely to waste money.

Rectifier:

For the Battery:
