back seat

Alright so on my 04 RR i was screwing around one day becuase my back seat doesnt come off ever well. So i was messing with the latches figuring it was them but its not it was the one middle latch thats on the cable.Well now my seat is stuck on becuase the cable doesnt unlatch far enough anymore. This makes it kind of hard to tune a bike with the power commander all locked up under the seat. I have tried taking the frount seat off and pulling on the cable a bit and turning the key but no luck. Is there a way i can take the part where you put the key in under the frount seat apart to ajust the latch that pops the seat off. THANKS!
