You might want to check all the wire leading up to the cluster. Our bikes can't run without the tach. I tried trust me. Why did you change the sub harness anyways?

you've checked that you're getting power to each lead from the connector in the back with a multimeter?

could be a shot dash.

Your bike will run just fine without the cluster hooked up. Check the main lead plugging into the back of the cluster. Make sure it's plugged all the way in. Then check all of your fuses. Brother has his trackbike with no cluster. Works just fine. T

Seems like the cluster itself is the problem....it is not out of the question.

Did it work prior to switching the harness?

If so, you can confirm if it is your new harness by plugging back in the old one.

Did you check if your plate light is out?, if so.

Check all the 10A fuse in the mid left fairing.
