Angry Problem with my Eclipse

So i know this a bike forum. duh. but Im thinking that a lot of you mechanically inclined guys can help me with this.

I have an Automatic 99 eclipse that has been sitting for about a month. I havent been driving it because I completed my bike assembly and if needed, been driving the girlfriends' car on occasion.

So I went to take it out, and when I start it (in the cold), It starts whining like mad. A kind of whine ive never heard before, and coming from the tranny case. Tried driving, and its alll messed up.

Slips gears, wont shift out of 2nd, screams and whines with more gas... Inoperable condition. I even threw it in neutral while driving and it screams loud.

I tried adding and additive I got a NAPA, but it just got worse with more driving. And the nearest transmission place is over an hour away!

Any Ideas?

slipping gears and wont shift
sounds like a you need a new transmission
the odd thing is this doesnt happen over night
the whines could be your drive belt. if you have the engine running. pop the hood and spray some brake clean on it and see if that noise goes away

whine distinctively comes from the transmission. no belts. Ive heard the whine maybe 2 times before when I would start in the cold. but it would go away after about 20 seconds. Now this...
