An all new, slightly different rear seat lock question...
Yesterday, my key cylinder slipped and rotated around would not open. I ended up breaking the key off in it and driving home with my extra key. I had a locksmith get it out and open it up. It presently opens up the ghetto way, with a screwdriver if you turn it pretty hard and twist the lock at an angle and seat at an angle. It seems kind of wasteful to just replace this lock, so I was wondering if there's any way to wire it up so I can just pull a wire out of that hole and pull it to release the latch. Anyone got any ideas?
I've seen people post threads on using an actuator and making a remote one, but that's much more than i need.
