what is this?

Hey

Well I pulled the plastic off the right side of my bike (if sitting on the bike) gonna change the oile and filter soon. Well on the left side of the bike, about the height & inline with the top of the headers I see what seems to be oil/leak/grime. Where it seems to be coming from a "piece" with a wire hooked to it. But I am not 100% sure what it is called, or where it may be coming from. I saw it the year before last, but ran it all year, does not effect anything but is something I want sorted out none the less. I will post a few pics tryign to point it out the best I can. You will see where it is dirty, and where I ran my finger on it and wiped a small amount off to help point the area out plus a red circle and arrow.

that is your camshaft position sensor. One bolt to remove then pull the sensor out. It's just an o-ring to replace and you should be done.
