600RR 2008 Bogging down / sputtering - Any Ideas?

I live in washington state and it has been very cold but I ride a lot. Here is the problem, I went for a 20 minute bike ride and parked my bike for 20 minutes. I went to start it and it started fine, let it warm up for a minute and when I went to take off it wouldn't go. It tried but was bogging down very bad, and I didn't know what the heck was going on so I went back and it is now parked. Could it be a plug?

Got any ideas?

Cold as in how cold?

Just a guess. The ECU runs the bike rich when it is warming up. So maybe there was extra unburnt fuel in the cylinders and was not letting it run correctly. If my guess is right... just give the bike a little rev to clear it out before putting in gear and going. Just to like 5K... not all the way to 15 or anything. If you see some black smoke out of the exhaust when you give it the little rev... then it was too rich.

Just something to try. It won't hurt anything.

It was running rich, and I pulled the plug and cleaned it up. Thanks!
