bike dies when put into nuetral...

while im riding and shift into nuetral the bike will jerk and die? has this happen to anyone?

Weird. We'll need more details... like when I let the clutch out in N it jerks and dies.

i have a similar problem. mine dies when i put the kickstand down in neutral. and sometime the neutral wont show up on the tach at all

Problem with the neutral switch. Check your connection to it. If I remember right, The connector is on the left side of the motor and is a one wire connector.

I'm having the same problem with a bike I'm working on for a friend.
If you guys figure this out, post up.

I'm also thinking it's the neutral switch, but the one I found on the right side of the engine is listed by Honda as a "Generator Pulse"
Any other ideas where this neutral sensor is?

^^^ left side. One wire ( can't remember color ) and it has a little metal connector with a rubber tube over the outside of it.
