Bike won't start!!!!

I just got done installing the new exhaust on my bike. Started the bike up, let it warm up then revved it a few times to here the goodness of the infamous leo vince exhaust. After I was done, I put the bike back together. Then, went to start it again, and noticed the key was still in the ON position, but nothing was turned on. No lights, gas gauge, nothing. Took the key out, turned it back to the ON position again, and nothing. What could be the deal here?

def charge the battery and once its fully charged when you go to start the bike, start it with the throttle opened fully.

sounds like a dead battery. charge it for 24 hours with a battery tender for best results. been down that road before!
