clutch is wobbly...

hey guys,

the other day when i was riding, i noticed that my clutch lever is really wobbly.

i can pull it in about 3/4 of a cm before i feel any pressure from the clutch.

it wobbles and shakes around when im not touching it.

this doesnt seem normal. ive never noticed this before. im not sure how it got like that. any suggestions on how to fix it? or do i even need to fix it?

i really bugs knowing that its just flapping in the wind.

thanks.

Just to the right of the lever is an adjusting wheel, use that but remember to leave 1/8 inch of play.

the cable stretched, its perfectly normal.
you will also notice the throttle play will increase over time as well.

i run over 1/2" of clutch play, but its personal preference really.
DO NOT adjust it so there is 0 play tho, you need about 1/8" minimum.

Yup, loosen that "wheel" and screw out the adjuster to tighten the cable/lever feel. Like
everyone's saying leave at least an 1/8 inch of play in it. Then tighten the lock nut back
down. Easy as that, takes 30 seconds.

if you run your clutch w/ 0 play, the plates will never fully engage as it has a slight bit of pressure on it.
this will lead to premature wear of the friction and pressure plates in the clutch.
