lazy, chugging sound from engine

so after recharging my battery, the bike started up no problem. but when idling, it seems as tho the engine is struggling just a little bit.. does it have anything to do with the idle? my bike idles around 1.5k..maybe a little less.. that's too low right?

If your battery won't hold a charge for 2 weeks... then its done.
The rough idle is from... With a bad battery, the charging system has to power the bike. ( headlights, fuel injection, everything) At idle speed, the charging barely makes enough juice to run the bike. Replace your battery and you'll be as good as new.
