600rr scary incident (felt like fuel cut)

hi fellow riders. I'm posting in search of desperate help.

background of bike:

2006
7k miles
only mod is full akra exhaust

while on the fwy today, the bike all of sudden felt like it hit fuel cut. this happened 3 times today. once at 11k, the other two times happened at 5-7krpm. it would cut for a second and ride normal again.

i see the oil light flash for a second. thats about it. got home and check oil level, and it was fine at the upper mark thru oil window.

could this be an overreving issue? arent our bikes supposed to be ok revving to 14k?

thanks guys

If this was a scary incident what possessed you to do it multiple times, you certainly didn't have to rev to 11k rpms to go anywhere on the highway

sorry, let me clarify. i'm not an idiot (not a total one at least). the problem manifested after i hit 11k (1st time) so i was cruising around 5k-7k to get home and it happened again.

so the majority votes Ground issue? where would i start to check?

thanks for the help

did you not read his statment at all
he asked if the bike doing what it did scared him, then why was he revving the bike up to those levels while being scared

and if the bikes cutting out, no you dont want to "ride them shts!" get an engine cut out at the wrong time and do a full blown engine brake over oil and have a fun time

my bike did this too not too long ago...it was the positive wire on the battery was loose.....check the connections on your battery....im assuming whats happining is like if you hit the kill switch while riding then flipped the kill switch again real quick (or slow however long your bike is dead for)
