03 600rr Rear Blinker Running Light Question

hey guys,
I was wondering if the stock rear blinkers are also supposed to be like the stock fronts where they are on all the time (running lights)?

When I had the aftermarket flushmounts in the front and aftermarket rear blinkers, both front and rears would be the running lights. Also, I had the aftermarket flushmounts with stock rears and both front and back would on all the time (running lights).

When I switched everything back to the stock blinkers, only the fronts come on for the running lights, but the rears don't. When I use the turn signals, both front and back work. I know the rear is a 2 wire and the front is a 3 wire. Does that mean the rears are specifically for blinking only or are they supposed to be like the front where it's on all the time (running lights)?

If they are supposed to be on all the time, anyone know why they aren't coming on?

OK thanks that's what I was assuming too. Thought it was kinda odd that the rear turn signals were on all the time. I checked the wiring diagram in my service manual and the rear only has 2 wires for the rear. 1 for ground (green) and the other goes to the turn signal switch.

Haha, funny you ask about this as I'm looking up some stuff about it...

The front are three wire (yes) and the rear are two (yes). As for the question about the front being on. They are supposed to stay on, the rear do not (stock).
