Angry Bike randomly dies while riding after crash.

I put my bike down (lowside) at about 65 like a month and a half ago. I had my buddy who is a motorcycle mechanic come by and he said the bike is still structurally fine to ride, thats all i had him look at. I put my new rearsets and new gauge cluster on first, just so I could get riding again.

Well she starts no problem, and rides good now. Buuuttt, she just randomly dies. It first happened when I down shifted into 1st gear at like 4 mph (clutch was obviously in). Then I got on to the highway to see what would happen and it just dies, at any given moment. I think I noticed that its when my RPM's are going down. Although, %90 of the time it dies, its when im slowing down to a stop. Its not when im in idle, its when the RPMs are just dropping. Any one know what the hell it could possibly be?

Short version: Bike dies when ever she wants, while riding.

Its and 05 CBR600rr BTW. Thanks in advance guys(and gals if you are on this site)

There was quite a bit of front end damage, but for the most part cosmetic. The headlights cracked, the upper fairing smashed, the fairing stay snapped right at the mirror, and my gauge cluster got a little messed up. Yes, the bike just shuts off, as if I'm hitting the red button off (2:30 am so I can't remember what rhats called at the moment). The gauges and speedo stay on. It tells me my speed just my RPMs are at 0
