::05 RR:: Highbeams and 3rd eye out only::

hey fellas (and ladies) ...

So I pulled up behind a truck and noticed my high beam was out. The blue high beam indicator lights up in the dash but the high beam doesn't light up. 3rd eye bulb is also out.

Just wondering if the 2 bulbs run off the same fuse?

I didn't have the hex head to take my seat off, must have lost my new set Will be checking tomorrow ... location under the seat like my f4i?

Thanks!! :)

Think you might have a short in there between the battery and the
items mentioned. You got it nice as that is a pretty narrow area where it might be. I have a similar issue but worse in that its knocked out my
ignition (won't stay started after I release Starter Button) and turn signals as well so its therefore a wider area where the issue could be.
SUX!

damn!

yeh well I figured it out ... I thought it may have been a fuse so I checked (under left mid fairing) and it was fine. Turns out, SOMEHOW, that my headlight was broken at the base ... no idea how. Checked all the wires with a light tester and all my connections are fine.

Replaced the 3rd eye light that happened to be out (coincidence I guess) and ordered myself a replacement headlight.
