help wiring headlight from scratch.

helllo people. im currently putting an 04 headlight on my f3. and im having issues wiring the headlight. i cant figure out how it goes. i took out the bulb and tried giving it pos-ground nothing groun-pos nothing pos-pos nothing.

wich is the ground and the positive.

is the top center ring ground and the spades pos? so it needs to be installed to work?????
and the ground is the middle of the headlight wher it has that metal braket?

please help. i have the FSM of the 600rr but is not as deatailed to how the bulb works.:icon_stud

You can use an ohm meter to figure it out. 600rr bulbs have only one filiment so there's only one pos and one neg. ( a light bulb is a light bulb, it doesn't matter which one is pos and which one is neg. It will work both ways ) You should be getting like .25 ohms.
