hid relay delayprob

hey guys heres my prob... i bought a hid delay relay from tripage.com and just the other day my hid didnt wanna start. so i pulled the ballast and luckly i have like 5 laying around and tryed plugin in it. some seem like it wants to start up but then turns off. does anyone know what can be causing this? is it the relay or ballast. and do i have to change up my fuses?

check you battery voltage. if its not fully charged then the hid ballast wont light up. i have seen guys where it will flash / flicker a couple time then wont turn on. try you battery.

k i checked my battery and tryed recharging it but it blinks fully charged in like less then a min.. i switched the fuse from the left side of the fairing from a 20 to a 30, is this a good idea. and my hid(high beam) works fine with no prob. ive tryed plugin in differ ballast on hte low and i still get nothing. i went to autozone for a new relay and still didnt get anything. when i have all the original stuff i had the bulb looks like its getting some charge but not enough to fire it all the way. is their a differ fuse for the low beam or its one fuse for lows and highs?

Depending on the HID's you have could be a bad ballast, bulb or ignitor. Swap the bulb to the high beam side and see if it turns on. If not then your bulb is bad. If it does then you can put the high beam bulb on the low beam side and try it.

Delay relay will click when the key is turned on and will click again when the delay runs out. As long as the second click is done then it should be fine. If you want to remove it from the system you can try it without is as well. Remember all this testing with the bike off will drain your battery down quick firing off the HID's.

i noticed that my low beam would turn on then off right away (hid), i just added a toggle switch and it fixed the issue. I do have to wait a minute before i turn on the high beam. i guess the ballast is charging.
