power source help...?

so I am getting some of the krazy eyes from tripage. i have a switch installed to the toolbox behind the fairring. I have the ground all wired up and I am wondering where can I steal power from? I don't really want to cut into any wires. Can I go straight to the battery? I feel like that would be too much power, where else can I go?

12V is 12V no matter where you get it from. If you tap in at the headlights or go straight from the battery, you'll be getting the same voltage.
