Left bar control pod rotates - How to stop?

The left control pod rotates around the bar - the right one has an indent it locks into and doesn't have this problem. I have tightened up the two screws as much as they will go. Its not like it is loose but it has no indent to slip into. Is this normal?

It's not normal. There should be a small pin and notch that fit together to prevent the switch assembly from rotating. Keep it loose, rotate it while sliding it up and down, and you should be able to feel the pin and notch fit together.

^^^^^^like he said. If it doesn't catch simply take it apart to find the plastic pins are broken.

Thanks guys- It was a bit curious since the right pod had a pin. The control pod is new - guess Honda wants me to buy a 2 cent pin for $2. I will take apart and have a look - it may be there but I'm just off on the exact position.
