Trouble w/ Turn Signals and Break light.

I searched for this but could not find a complete answer.

I recently bought a 2003 CBR 600 rr, and I noticed that the turn signals when engaged only light up instead of blinking as normal. I have some kind of flush mouts on the frot and similar on the rear. Additionally, my break light does not work. It lights up, but wont brighten when the brake is applyed.

Im sorry for the noobish question. I just need to work this out before i have it inspected in VA.

Thanks!

Rear brake switch is already activated, so the brake light is already on. Remove the spring from behind the right rearset and/or adjust the plastic adjustment. T

You have a small spring behind the right rearset. This is hooked to a plastic adjustment that is attached to the rearset. Either spin the dial to make the piece sit further in the base or remove the lower spring to determine if this is the problem then adjust to where it's not engaged till you push the rear brake lever down.
