Can i run my bike without the ignition pulse generator

i just dropped my bike last week and i broke the right crankcase cover and also

the ignition pulse generator....so sad.....

& i am gonna fix only the right crankcase cover soon....

i am not sure if i can still run it without the ignition pulse generator....

(OR what would happen if i don't replace it??)

no, this is what tells the ignition system (coils) to fire.


DDM 55w 7k HID
Sliders

Tenjin is correct, I think that throws a code 44???? not sure what specifically the code is but the part is less than 50usd to replace. how do you know it's broke? if it's obvious get a new one, if you need help troubleshooting PM me.

j/k, it would be a code 19 for sure if it's an 07+, poss same code if 03-06 not sure

You only need it if you want your exhaust to make the noise instead of having to use your mouth.
