Annoying Vibration From Dash Area at 9000 rpm

So I did a search and came up with nothing, so maybe you guys can help me:

When I hover around or decelerate over the 9k rpm mark, I hear this annoying *SHHH*ing sound. It almost sounds like steam spitting out of a valve, but I think it is a vibration. It seems to be coming from the dash area, but I can't find anything that makes it stop when I touch it. Is this a common problem? I'm pretty sure it isn't the third eye piece, since I HAD a bad vibration from it, but got it to stop with some fiddling. Should I take it into the dealer?

Thanks very much,
John

Make sure all your screws are tightened. Go from there.

Keep us posted, the dealer may not help your situation. They may say its just normal.

I have the same vibration, I found in my case it was the key. There was a thread here somewhere that had a fix to that problem.
