Best place to get regulator/rectifier?

So my 03 has the classic issues with the voltage regulator/rectifier, and I was just trying to figure out where is the cheapest place to get an 05/06 along with the mounting bracket? i cant seem to find one in the marketplace here

Ebay comes in pretty handy for that item. That's where I got mine. There's almost always atleast a couple on there.

I had the same problem with my 03. I bought an 05 Regulator and rectifier and even a new battery. Seemed like I fixed the problem, but down the road the battery would slowly drain, and on hot days the second i turned the bike off Id have a 20% chance it would start. Lets just say I got a lot of exercise.

So, swapping this out didnt really help me in the end. Not sure if it will help you too. Just letting you know so you dont waste time and money like me.

Im curious if someone figured out a better solution to this very annoying problem
