Sputtering at idle

When i first start the bike up it will sputter as its idling. More so when its colder out. Its a sput here, sput there. Not like the engine is running rough, just a here and there thing. It will do this at only at idle till its about up to temp.

Though maybe it could be worn rings. Bike does have 23k miles on it.

Any input is appreciated.

just at idle, which i have set at 1400, but it idles at about 2k when its colder out till its up to temp. I noticed this morning it didnt do it right away when i started it. After it idled for about 30 seconds there were a few. Its very odd.

the rpms don't fluctuate with the sputter. If i open the thottle and hold it at say 3k, it does not sputter.
