Unhappy Running lights wont turn on after I installed full akra

So I just installed my new full akrapovic exhaust a few days ago. On my way home tonight though, I had a guy pull up beside me and tell me I had no lights in the back. (oh god). Made my way home, took the rear end apart, and all wires appeared to be still attached. I remember the lambda sensor from the stock headers had no real place to mount on the new headers so I just kinda left the wires hang. All of the wires from the back end ran straight into where the lambda sensor wires come out of though... so my guess is that the lambda wires were the way the lights were getting grounded out. Anyone able to confirm? ... Or any suggestions on other causes? I tried wrapping the wires up to the exhaust from the outside but nothing happened. (no electrician but that was my attempt). HELP PLEASE!
